In honor of the last day of school this week, (thank goodness-what a week!) here is a picture of a small school we visited while in Cambodia. It looks like the only student that was on time is this orange and white street kitty. I love that he has the chalk beside him too! Are you jumping for joy that it is Friday too? Did you listen to Rebecca Black’s Friday song to usher in the day? Be honest.
Stay tuned for another post all about our trip to Cambodia this weekend. Happy Friday!
Our condo isn’t very big. So, if you lose something, it’s really only a matter of time until you find it. I had looked for Maggie in all of her normal hiding spots and couldn’t find her anywhere. Big Orange is pretty hard to miss. Finally I poked my head out onto the laundry area and heard, “Meow?” I don’t know how she got into the washer, but there she was, sitting pretty, and I don’t think she could figure out how to get out either.
She didn’t have anything to grab onto, so she kept trying to dig her claws into something, but nothing was there. Poor thing! I did help her out as soon as I finished snapping some pictures, don’t worry. And pretty soon she had recovered from her trauma in the washer and was back to doing her usual, you know, 23 hours of sleep, 10 minutes of eating, 20 minutes of staring out the window, 20 minutes of cleaning herself, and 10 minutes of playing with toys/walking around the condo and meowing. Ah-the good life. (Until you get stuck in a washer, of course.)
